Carpet Beetles


Carpet beetles feed on animal-based items like leather, silk, wool, fur, and animal hair. Therefore carpet beetles may infest upholstered furniture, carpets, blankets, comforters, coats, pillows, wool, and clothing.

While the adult carpet beetles feed on nectar and pollen, the larvae may eat animal food, seeds, and other milled products in your kitchen/pantry. Although the adult male can be found inside or outside, their counter part prefers to lay eggs where food sources are plentiful.

CLOTHES MOTH


Adult Clothes moth do not feed on fabric so they cause no injury to it. However, the adults produce eggs that turn into a fabric-eating larvae.

How do you stop clothes moths infestation? Clothes moth like unruffled corners that are warm and dark. Deep clean your storage areas like cabinets or wardrobe – so start by removing everything from your wardrobe, check all the corners and drawers – wipe them off using a detergent-soaked cloth to remove everything there.
